Terms of service

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Suzanne Parker Dog Training (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or participating in our training programs, clinics, or services, you (“client” or “you”) agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

We offer a range of dog training services, including but not limited to: group classes, private training, boarding school programs, reactive dog bootcamps, rattlesnake avoidance clinics, and dog adventure outings. Service details, dates, and pricing may vary and are provided at the time of booking.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

  • Accepted payment methods will be outlined during registration.

  • Failure to provide timely payment may result in cancellation of your booking.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Group Classes & Private Training: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the first session for a refund (minus processing fees). No refunds for late cancellations or no-shows.

  • Boarding School Programs: Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the start date may be eligible for partial refunds.

  • Rattlesnake Avoidance Clinics: Refunds (minus processing fees) are available up to 7 days before the clinic. No refunds for cancellations within 7 days or for no-shows.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a service due to weather, safety, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative date or full refund.

4. Client Responsibilities

By booking services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your dog’s health, vaccinations, and behavior.

  • Ensure your dog is up-to-date on required vaccinations prior to participation.

  • Follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the trainer.

  • Remain responsible for your dog’s behavior during services, unless otherwise specified.

5. Health & Safety

  • We prioritize the well-being of all dogs and participants.

  • Dogs showing signs of illness may be asked to reschedule for the safety of others.

  • We do not allow dogs with a history of severe aggression in group classes unless approved in advance.

6. Liability Waiver

  • Participation in dog training involves inherent risks. By enrolling, you agree to release Suzanne Parker Dog Training from liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during training, outings, or clinics.

  • Clients remain financially responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog.

7. Photo & Video Release

We may capture photos or videos of training sessions for educational or promotional use. If you prefer not to have your dog featured, please notify us in writing before services begin.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised “last updated” date.
